Light Adjustable Lens surgery is an advanced cataract treatment that allows your vision to be customized after surgery, offering a level of precision and flexibility not possible with traditional lens implants.
How the Light Adjustment Process Works
After your initial surgery, your eye is given time to heal before adjustments begin. Once your vision stabilizes, you will return for a series of light treatments. During these visits:
- A specialized light device is used to adjust the lens inside your eye
- Each session fine-tunes your vision based on your real-world experience
- Adjustments continue until your desired visual outcome is achieved
Once your vision is optimized, the lens is “locked in” with a final light treatment to maintain your results long-term. This process allows us to refine your vision in a way that traditional lenses cannot.
