  I volunteered at the Brooklyn Free Clinic, a student-run clinic dedicated to providing care to surrounding communities in need of medical help. I was able to interview and examine patients on my own with the goal of formulating an attending-approved plan that addressed the needs of the patient who presented to clinic.

  I served as an executive board member of the Downstate Chapter of AMWA, which is a national organization that promotes and celebrates women’s roles in medicine.
